Sand Resources has been a first tier supplier to the FSA since 2006. We have helped in the development of 4 major programmes of change that will deliver business and systems improvements in line with strategic objectives and a significant number of smaller, more tactical initiatives.

BNP Paribas were integrating a new business into the group and Sand Resources provided test analysis expertise to enable their OTC Derivatives to move to new interfaces. We provided specific knowledge of Asset Management Investment Operations business as well as Front and Back OTC Derivatives. Our consultant worked with test management, operations and technology groups to define, document and agree the test approach.

Consultants from Sand Resources were responsible for redesigning and implementing new architecture for the Credit Guarantee Scheme Model to add full automation and dynamic functionality. This highly complex model tracks credit guarantees issued by HM Treasury to various banks/institutions; it includes guarantee liabilities, fees receivable, amortization of liabilities, FX movements, hedges, guarantee valuations etc. A consolidated journal entry is prepared monthly for onward transmission to HM Treasury.
