| I am looking for a Support Analyst for my market leading global client. The successful candidate will need to combine a diverse set of skills, including application troubleshooting, data manipulation, and dealing directly with end users around the globe. Key Responsibilities: *Responding to, and resolving support requests for Services across the organisation *Work closely with end-users and resolve software and data issues *Work closely with application vendors to obtain technical solutions *Executing back-end administrative tasks *Work with the Service Lead to identify and prioritise issues *Advising the Service Lead of any significant considerations e.g. security risks *Monitor global applications to pre-empt problems *Develop and modify SQL queries for reporting and data transfer purposes *Identify and fix software bugs *Develop, document, and consistently apply policies, processes and standards *Create and maintain appropriate technical documentation Key Skills: *Proven skills in Microsoft VB.Net, VB6, ASP, and HTML. C# or Java skills advantageous. *Ability to write efficient SQL statements. Ability to develop and maintain stored procedures, views, and triggers in both Oracle and SQL Server would be advantageous *Experience of carrying out administrative data tasks in SQL Server and Oracle *Visual Objects skills would be advantageous *Understanding of data and system security *Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills *Strong team-based ethic with experience of cross-functional and virtual teams.
