Shortage of Business Analysts

The IT job market continues to grow and there is strong demand for Business Analysts for permanent and contract roles.

A report this month by KPMG and REC shows increased demand for IT staff since June 2010 and a particular shortage of Business Analysts since the start of 2011. Whilst the UK jobs market has generally deteriorated, demand for IT staff has surged.

Other skills in short supply are Oracle, SAP, .Net and PHP programmers reflecting a need for business intelligence and management information technology experience.
