Hospice in the Weald

Sand Resources has chosen Hospice in the Weald  as our corporate charity.  The Hospice provides specialist palliative care, advice and clinical support for people with life limiting illness, their families and the bereaved. The Hospice is based in Pembury, close to our head office in Tunbridge Wells, and serves a community of approximately 300,000 over an area of 400 square miles of West Kent and East Sussex. 

Wheels Around The Weald, Bike Rally, March 2012

This year, on a chilly March 31st, we took part in the Wheels around the Weald  bike rally and raised £500 in sponsorship, which Sand Rsources matched.  The team cycled a forty mile hilly circuit from Pembury taking in Goudhurst, Cranbrook and Paddock Wood.  Congratulations to Anthony, Tim, James and Ben for completing the course and a huge thank you to those who sponsored them.

Golf day - May 2011 at Chart Hills Golf Club

This was a fantastic day which we were delighted to support. Blessed with good weather and a fabulous course the day was a great success. We hope all the teams enjoyed the Sand Resources golf balls and didn't lose too many! One of our team, Mike Davies, won the longest drive competition. 

Tunbridge Wells 10k run, Sept 2010

Joseph Noone and Anthony Butler from Sand Resources were delighted to support the Hospice in the Weald by taking part in the Tunbridge Wells 10k. The company has matched their £230 sponsorship meaning Joseph and Anthony have raised £460 for this excellent organisation.
