Hospice in the Weald

Sand Resources is delighted to announce Hospice in the Weald  continues to be our corporate charity for 2012.

The Hospice provides specialist palliative care advice and clinical support for people with life limiting illness, their families and the bereaved. The Hospice is based in Pembury, near our head office in Tunbridge Wells and serves a community of approximately 300,000 over an area of 400 square miles of West Kent and East Sussex.

The Hospice publishes fundraising events and ideas on their website should you wish to get involved.

This year, on March 31st, we will be taking part in the Wheels around the Weald event. 

Golf day - May 2011 at Chart Hills Golf Club

This was a fantastic day which we were delighted to support. Blessed with good weather and a fabulous course the day was a great success. We hope all the teams enjoyed the Sand Resources golf balls and didn't lose too many! One of our team, Mike Davies, won the longest drive competition. 

Tunbridge Wells 10k, 2010

Joseph Noone and Anthony Butler from Sand Resources were delighted to support the Hospice in the Weald by taking part in the Tunbridge Wells 10k. The company has matched their £230 sponsorship meaning Joseph and Anthony have raised £460 for this excellent organisation providing specialist palliative care, advice and clinical support.
